2023: Igbo Christain President Is Long Over Due, Says Ndubueze

Following what has been widely described as undue denial of Nigerian Presidency slot from the people of South East extraction, a Catholic prelate also the Catholic Bishop of Aba Diocese, His Lordship Augustine Ndubueze has re-echoed the need not just for Christain President but a Christian President from the South East of the Country, if the Country truly believes in equity and Justice.

The Catholic  Prelate  made the assertion during the 50 years Anniversary of the Catholic ArchBishop of Owerri Eccelesiastical province Arch Bishop  Anthony JV Obinna.

He hinted that the emergence of an Igbo President has been long overdue and that the country will be more United if Igbo Christan president is elected.

Talking about  very bad security situation in Nigeria, the Prelate maintained that nobody is spared and that every Nigerian now  lives in danger, both Christains and non-christians,even as he observed that it seems Christains are more in danger.

The Bishop  however, called on both Christains and Muslims to tolerate one another and  understand that both Religion worship the same God.

Bishop Ndubueze advised Christains to be more vigilant even as they pray to avoid being prey to terrorist attack.

Meanwhile, the Catholic Bishop of Aba has described Archbishop Obinna as an apostle of Christ by making himself an instrument of Christ.

The Bishop who expressed joy of being privileged to celebrate with him, informed that the 50 years celebration of the Arch bishop is a celebration of excellent, Spiritual fulfillment and pray that God will continue to grant him more fruitful years ahead as he continues to work in His Vineyard.
