Ahead of the awaited November, 11Governorship Election in Imo state,an All Progressive Congress, APC chieftain, and former Transition Committee chairman of Mbaitoli LGA of the state, Dr. Pat Nna, has lauded the Governor, Sen.Hope Uzodinma on the recent occasion of unveailing of Mrs.Chinyere Ekomaru as running mate in the election.
Speaking in an interactive session with newsmen in his country-home,Okwu-Ogbaku in Mbaitoli LGA on Saturday, August,11,2023,Dr.Nna, said that the selection of the deputy governor-designate from Umunoha Community in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo state is an indication of renewed hope for more meaningful dividends of democracy to Mbaitoli people, especially the people of Mbaitoli-South geo-political entity beyond 2023.
Also soliciting support of the people of Ogbaku ward for Gov.Uzodinma/Mrs.Ekomaru joint ticket under the platform of the APC ahead of the election,Dr.Nna, posited that eligible voters in Mbaitoli LGA need to vote enmasse for the APC Governorship candidate in solidarity for the running mate,Mrs.Ekomaru,in order also to consolidate on the gains of democracy availed them by the selection of Mrs.Ekomaru by Gov.Uzodinma.
According to him, the people of Ogbaku ward shall lend maximum support in ensuring an all-round victory for Gov.Uzodinma and his running mate, come, November, 11,2023, to enable the Governor complete the socio-infrastructural projects started by his administration in the state,such as quality road-infrastructure among other basic amenities to the people of Imo state elusive overtime, using the 3-R policy-thrust of the Shared Prosperity administration on’ Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Recovery’ of the state’s economy.
He however used the occasion in appealing to the member representing Mbaitoli State-constituency in the IMHA,Hon.Innocent Ikpamezie, the SOLAD, Chief Hamilton Opara, the Mbaitoli APC chairman,Mr.Chinonye Agogbuo, among other leaders and stakeholders of the party in Mbaitoli LGA to work in robust synergy, in the realization of the noble objective of overall good Interest of socio-political and economic progress of Mbaitoli LGA.
