Harrison Nwadike 2-Days Free Medical Outreach Holds 6-7 January At Ihebinowere Community Hospital, Njaba

All is now set for a smooth and successfully conduct of a 2-day free medical outreach being sponsored by Chief Barr. Hurrison Nwadike (Ikeoha) for the people of Ihebinowere, Okwudor and its environs billed
to take place between 6 th-7 th January, 2023 at Ihebinowere community Hospital Ihebinowere-Okwudor Njaba L.G.A of Imo State.
Our Health correspondent who visited the area reported that the hospital which now records increase in number of patients in daily basis is wearing a new look in readiness of the programme courtesy the
hospital’s management and Ihebinowere project intervention forum (I.P.I.F).
The report further had it that the medical outreach will cover free doctors consultation, free laboratory services and free drugs as available, while confirmed surgery cases will be booked and done at later date at half the normal cost of the operation.
In an interview with journalist, Chief Barr. Nwadike who is a son of the soil and also the All progressives Congress candidate for Nkwerre/Isu/Njaba/Nwangele Federal constituency seat in the forthcoming general election said that his motive in sponsoring the free medical outreach is tide on the saying that Health is wealth and knowing that lack of funds has really affected the rural people in accessing good health care a such when the Hospital Administrator came up with such an idea, he saw it as a good one and of course part of his civic responsibility to assist the people have access to good health care. Again considering that Ihebinowere community hospital as one the most equipped Hospital in the rural area, infact comparable with most hospitals in the city in having all kinds of equipments for all kinds of tests modern ones for that matter, but because it is located in the rural area, they are being underutilized, hence he felt that it is an opportunity for the people to have access to quality health care in the spirit of Christmas and also for them to know that there is such a well equipped hospital at their services which again he considred as giving back to the society.
Speaking on reason he choose Ihebinowere community Hospital for the free medical outreach, Barr. Nwadike has this to Say “I am proud to be a son of Ihebinowere and charity they say begins from Home, I am also proud that my people has setup such a well equipped Hospital and the hospital administrator who came up with such a wonderful idea equally came from Ihebinowere but it will not start and end up with
Ihebinowere, hence if any hospital within the Federal constituency can come up with such a brilliant proposal that would benefit the people and approach me, I would certainly key-in. So I am sponsoring the free medical outreach because the idea is a good one and it firstly came from Ihebinowere”
On the assessment of the performance of the management of Ihebinowere community Hospital, Barr. Nwadike who was full of happiness commended the management for their doggedness, approach
to issues and hard work which he feels has brought new easy of live at the hospital.
According to him a visit to the hospital would tell a good story by itself because before now no body could come up with such wonderful ideas, the hospital environment is now very clean, infact recently there was a
free eyes checkup there, the hospital has been approved as a vaccination centre, and training of auxiliary nurses has commenced in earnest. Ihebinowere Project Intervention Forum (I.P.I.F) the Hospital financiers are really motivated to do more in the development of the hospital management because of what they are have seen thanks to the Hospital’s management led by our son Pastor Victor Okereke we know was the Director of Budget Imo State now retired but not tired.
On his political aspiration to represent the good people of Isu/Nkwerre/Njaba/Nwangele Federal constituency in the forth coming elections, Barr. Nwadike who is vying for the position for the 3 rd time
passionately called on the political leaders and electorates in the Federal constituency particularly Nkwerre and Nwangele to allow a person from Njaba LGA to have a test of the seat because according to him for over
25 year now the Federal seat has been rotated and occupied between Nkwerre and Nwangele. Hence equity demands that a person from Njaba or Isu be allowed to occupy the seat now. He further submitted that he has the capacity to give his people a good representation if elected.
On the performance of Gov. Hope Uzodinma in last 3 years, Ikeoha said the man has performed more than the expectation of Ndi Imo and therefore deserve to the encouraged by giving him unalloyed support and reelection in 2023.
A member of Ihebinowere project intervention forum (I.P.I.F) Mr. Oluchukwu Nwachukwu in an interview said that the forum is leaving no stone unturned to see that vision of their forefathers in establishing the
hospital is met that is to ensure that their people have access to quality health care. As a result, the hospital has attracted a grant from their sons and daughters living in Diaspora, while the hospital expansion
programme will commence soon. He therefore called on the people of Ihebinowere, Okwudor and its environs to make use of the opportunity which the hospital provides to them in accessing quality health care.
Another critical stakeholder of the community Engr. Sam Odazie a retired staff of Halliborton Energy Services, advised on the need for the people to always go for medical checkup, a practice he has always been preaching because according to him, he prefers spending his money in assisting people have access to quality health care than spending it on funerals, a practice he has done over the years and main reason he
makes sure that Ihebinowere community hospital is functioning. He commended the I.P.I.F under the able chairmanship of Chief Vincent Okoro for their uprightness, doggedness and commitment towards the growth of Ihebinowere Community Hospital. And prayed God to continually give him the blessings, sound health, direction and all enablement to continue to pilot the affairs of the I.P.I.F.
