Agbarakwe Bags ” Diamond Brother Of Catholic Bible Society Of Nigeria Award” 

One of the active members of the Catholic Bible Society of Nigeria (CBSN) Mr Sunny Agbarakwe has been given an award of honour by the CBSN.

The award was given to him on the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of the Catholic Bible Society of Nigeria of the church in recognition of his dedication, support , contributions and selfless service to God and humanity..

Speaking to Journalists shortly after the event, Mr Agbarakwe whose joy knew no bounds stated that he feel happy to receive the award from CBSN adding, that he never knew that his dedications and contributions were being recognised by the association hence the decision to honour him with a meritorious award.

The awardee however, appreciated the members of the body and church at large for finding him worthy of the award adding, that it will. spur him to do more for the society and the church at large as he also, thanked his family, friends and well wishers for identifying and celebrating with him.

He noted that CBSN is a big society in the catholic which has helped to mould and change people ‘s lives for good through the preaching of the word of God disclosing, that he joined the Bible Society in 1998 and since then, has been committed to the bible society and equally, contributed his own quota to the welfare of the association.

He further maintained that since he joined the Bible society, his life has changed for good as he has not remain the same again as he has discovered positive changes in his life and endeavour equally, gotten many leadership positions.

The awardee who was once the pastoral council chairman hinted, that St Paul’s Parish, Owerri which is the Mother church of the CBSN has done him well emphasizing , that he is the fruit of the bible society and prayed that the association would go extra mind, move forward to a greater height

He further noted that he was the militant leader of CBSN Youth wing for 8 years and during his regime as the youth leader, they went to northern states for evangelism while market evangelism was a daily affair stressing, that what the bible society has done in his life cannot be over emphasized.

He thereby advised his fellow awardees not to relent but to continue the good work emphasizing, that to whom much is given much is expected and advised that they should live an exemplary life and let the word of God be alive and active in their individual lives.
