The Commissioner for Mines/Solid Minerals in Imo state, Dr.Martins Ekeh,has reiterated commitment to ensure that Gov. Hope Uzodinma gets adequate grassroots mobilization of people of the state in order to secure a landslide victory in the awaited November, 11,2023 Governorship Election in the state.
Dr.Ekeh, while making the disclosure in an interview with journalists shortly after a meeting with leaders of the 42 polling units in Ubomiri ward, Mbaitoli LGA, said that the Governor deserves support of the entire people of Imo state, considering his immense benevolence and purposeful leadership,as embedded in his Shared Prosperity administration’s 3-R policy-thrust of Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Recovery of the state’s economy.
According to him,he began the needed grassroots mobilization and enlightenment campaign for Gov.Uzodinma’s re-election bid, come, November, 11 by engaging the Presidents General, village Chairmen, and village Heads in in the three (3) Autonomous Communities in Ubomiri ward for full actualisation of the grassroots campaign for the Governor’s anticipated victory in the awaited gubernatorial election under the platform of the APC.
The Ubomiri-born Commissioner for Mines/Solid Minerals also assured that, the Petroleum Subsidy Removal Palliatives shall be distributed evenly among the people of the three communities in Ubomiri ward, especially those in the villages, and across political party-divide.
Dr.Ekeh further informed that the Co-ordinator of Mbaitoli-South Area Development Centre,Hon.Chibueze Umez Nnanna (Conac), the Ubomiri ward GLO, Chief Augustine Okwara,are working assiduously with the member representing Mbaitoli state-constituency in the IMHA,Hon.Innocent Ikpamezie to resolve the Town uynion leadership crisis in Amawuihe-Ubomiri Autonomous Community,as he promised to restore peace in the community before the end of September,2023,in order to record a hitch-free Governorship Election in the area, come, November, 11.
Dr.Ekeh also promised to give maximum support to the deputy governorship candidate, Lady Chinyere Ekomaru, whom he described as a virtuous woman who deserves to be encouraged by the Mbaitoli electorate in order to achieve Gov.Uzodinma’s second term bid.
