The Imo State Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has taken possession of Imo Standard Shoes. The Commissioner in charge of the Ministry, Simon Ebegbulam took charge of the company on behalf of the State Government from RHODS, a security consultant. Recall that Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma had recovered the Standard Shoes Industry from the Asset Management Corporation of Nigerian (AMCON).
