PRINCESS ANENE SHOCKS SUPPORTERS,  RETURNS FROM CANADA  TO SERVE.

The persistent  call from array of political supporters across Oguta Local Government Area for a popular Canadian based Women and Child rights Campaigner, Princess Calista Anene- Ahmed to contest for the coveted seat of Oguta State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly seems to have yield fruit with the unannounced return of the Oguta Ameshi- born Humanitarian turned politician.

She surprised  members of various voluntary support groups that congregated at Owerri, penultimate Thursday to draw a campaign action plan for her, with a sudden and stormy appearance in their meeting.
It can be recalled that in the last couple of weeks, a pro Youth political movement-Oguta for Credible Governance had met and endorsed Princess  Anene Ahmed for the Oguta State Constituency position and further reaffirmed the clamour with a declaration duly signed by its leaders drawn from the eleven political wards in the Council Area,to consolidate on their earlier endorsement.This development has unlocked a chain of reaction that saturates the political firmament of the Area and further raised the interest and consciousness of more interest groups and individuals to key into the popular clamour a paradigm shift for a woman in the person of Princess Anene to represent them at the State House of Assembly.
According to report  the recent happening at  Owerri where the politician took her supporters unaware by returning unannounced to attend their meeting, a mammoth crowd of her support groups pleading for her to avail herself for the coveted seat converged on Concord Hotel Thursday for a meeting and to their greatest surprise, Princess Calista surfaced at the meeting unannounced.It was Celebration galore as those in attendance expressed joy that her return was a signal that she has accepted  their fervent call for her to contest for the position.
In her remark in the meeting, Princess Anene said that their clamour has been fervent and deafening and that several individuals and groups have been calling to acquit her with happenings, especially as regards their support. According to her, on hearing about their scheduled meeting for Thursday to draw Campaign programs for her,she resolved to take the bull by the horn to return within twenty four hours from Canada to be with them.She thanked God for journey Mercy and expressed appreciation to them , with assurance that she will not let them down, though she pleaded with them to give her few days to consult with her leader and Principal, the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Earlier in his address, the facilitator of the meeting of the support groups, Comrade Fabian Mmerichukwu said that already a decision has been taken by the good people Oguta State Constituency that 2023 should be reserved for a woman to change narrative and sad story of bad political representation in the Area.
According to him,they were convinced that Princess Calista has a good track record of community service, philanthropy and humanitarian services to the people of the Area as a private Citizen were carried out through her Non Governmental Organization, Amede Ajie Foundation, founded and funded by her.He expressed confidence in her ability to deliver and thanked her for surprising them with the unannounced return to participate in their meeting.He also pleaded with her to accept their call and without further delay declare for the coveted position since time was of essence.
Speaker after speaker extolled the virtues of the philanthropist and Rights Campaigner and expressed joy that she was well disposed to provide the type of Leadership that is so much in need by the people and assured her that they will not rest until she gets elected into the State House of Assembly.
Highlight of the meeting was a prayer session where two Pastors in attendance were requested to hand over Princess Calista and the Oguta Constituency Project to God Almighty with a chain prayer joyfully participated by everyone in attendance.
