The Federal High Court sitting in Gwaripa, Abuja, has granted the former Minister of Labour and Productivity,  Chris Ngige  , bail in the ongoing corruption case against him. Justice Maryam Hassan, in granting Ngige bail, adopted the terms of administrative bail granted to him by the EFCC. She also added that as part of the bail conditions, the defendant is to produce one surety who is a Director on the federal government payroll, and must have a property in the FCT. Former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad (retd.), has passed away. Electricity supply across the South-East has dropped in recent days due to challenges on the national grid, the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company Plc (EEDC) has said. In a statement on Tuesday signed by Emeka Ezeh, Head of Communications, EEDC attributed the decline in power availability to low system frequency caused by gas constraints affecting electricity generation companies nationwide.
