Jubilation As Arthur Declares For Aboh Mbaise/Ngorkpala House Of Rep. Seat

It was jubilation galore over the weekend across Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala Federal constituency as Hon. Arthur Ugochukwu declares interest to contest for the seat of Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala federal Constituency in the green chambers of the National Assembly of the federal Republic of Nigeria.
Arthur who declared interest to contest for the position under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP., said that his interest is haken to the cries and beckons of the people of Aboh Mbaise/Ngorkpala federal constituency adding that this is not a time for jamboree but a time to make the people of his constituency feel the impact of government through effective legislation and representation.
According to him, “My people, I have listened to voices, I have walked with you, I have sat with our elders. I have spoken with our youths, and engaged with our women. I have seen the hunger for purposeful representation. I have heard the cry for development. I have felt the desire for leadership that is present, compassionate and effective, that is why today, with humility and deep sense of responsibility, I officially declare my intention to contest for the House of Representatives to represent the good people of Aboh Mbaise and Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency. “
Speaking also, the PDP organizing secretary, Ambassador Felix Nwosu Reality, who represented the leader of the party in the state Sen. Samuel Anyanwu, said that he is on ground to honour the invitation, Hon. Arthur gave to the leadership of the party, pointing out that he is here to hear from Arthur and to make an underground assessment of him hence, that would be part of the internal mechanism that would inform their decision.
According to him, the electoral Act has given two options noting that where the party decides to go for consensus and whoever the odd favours should know that it is not the winner takes it all and who ever the odds is against should also take it in the spirit of sportsmanship, hence should not pull out with his supporters.
Eziada Lolo Chinyere Onyeisi, JP, commend the aspirants for his bold steps while urging him to be steadfast, for the sky is his limit.
Speaking also, the PDP chairman Aboh Mbaise, Sir Michael Nnabuihe pointed out that the party has two aspirants contesting for the ticket, while urging Arthur to work hard. He also describe Arthur as a young man full of prospects, while wishing him well in his political journey.
Adding his voice, Snr Apostle Sam Okorafor the PDP Chairman Ngor Okpala LGA urged the aspirant to work hard, while he advised him to drive home the dividend of democracy through effective legislation and not forget the people that sent him there.
