View Foundation Donates Education Materials To Schools, Pays Exam Fees For 31 Students In Imo

In a bid to support and develop education at the rural areas an organization known as View Foundation has donated education materials to pupils in Ikeduru LGA, Imo state.

Speaking during the event that took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Umudim Ikeduru LGA of the State, on Friday, April 19, the Founder of View Foundation, Engr. Chukuwemeka Victor Anyanwu noted that the Foundation is celebrating her two-year anniversary.

 

The Foundation,he maintained has  sponsored Common Entrance examination of 31 students, adding that Umuonyekwu community school had 18 beneficiaries, Brilliant Nursery and Primary school had 11, while Salvation Army Nursery and Primary school had 2 students whose Common Entrance examination fee were  paid.

He added that the number of children present during this year’s event doubled against  that  of last year because the motivation for the pupils to go to  school has been increased by the Foundation.

Anyanwu who is based in USA informed that  the Foundation donated benches to St Mary’s Catholic Church now Umuonyekwu Nursery and Primary school.

He encouraged the teachers to continue to be good channels for impacting knowledge to the pupils, stressing that God will not leave them unrewarded.

Anyanwu also donated  N150,000 to  each  of the Schools as a way of encouragement to do more, adding that better packages await the schools in future.

The Assistant Headmistress of now Umuonyekwu Community School, Umudim, formerly St Mary’s Primary school, Mrs. Udeogu Ugonwa lauded the Foundation for all the support they’ve  been giving to the schools.

She said the teachers and pupils have been motivated by such provision of education materials like whiteboards, books, pencils, benches, cash among other things.

She asked God to continue to sustain the Foundation to do more to increase the desires of pupils to take education serious.
