IMO VOICE FOR GOOD LEADERSHIP: Stop Misleading Imolites Via Media, Group Warns APC Appointment Seeking Members

Politicians in Imo state especially of the All Progressives Congress,APC extraction have been advised to desist from the act of using the Media to deceive gullible citizens as they try to seek political appointments in the second tenure of the Governor,Sen. Hope Uzodinma.
Speaking recently in Owerri during a world Press conference, the leader of Imo Voice For Good Leadership , Mr Innocent Onyemaobi observed that in recent times that politicians have resorted to using the Media on the wrong side to be presenting them for political office of authorities thereby endangering the lives of poor Imo citizens.
The Group noted that in a sense that most of the political office seekers are still same persons who have failed to serve well the people in their previous positions of assignments in the state during Governor Uzodinma’s first term.
Onyemaobi pointed out that any politician seeking political appointment should, as of importance and duty publish his/her profile as well as wealth of experience and job done in the past with any other previous governments which should earn anybody the position of Chief of Staff, Secretary to the Government or even Commissioner among others..
In agreement, the group insisted that no worthy person/character goes on to campaign,using the Media in a way to get political position(s).
The Group urged the Governor to show extreme caution this time around of his second tenure in order not to repeat the same mistakes in his previous administration by appointing persons of no pedigree who will turn around to be enemies of the state as was experience in his first tenure, whereby land grabbing was witnessed in the state in likes of Noble Atulegwu, Love Ineh among others.
The Group also advised that the Press should look inward to investigate the motives of these political office seekers of APC divide in order not to mislead the Governor and the poor citizens.
