Imo Govt To Revive 45 Year-Old Ahiajoku Lecture Series

If the Good News emanating from the Office of the Director-General (DG) Ahiajoku Center,on the planned Revival of the famous Ahiajoku Lecture Series, is anything else to go bye,then Igbos will soon start another enjoyment of Intellectual harvest.

The Special Adviser To Governor Hope Odidika Uzodimma and Director-General (DG) Ahiajoku Center, Hon Nze Ray Emeana, started this in Owerri the Imo State Capital while Speaking on the 3R Administration plans in that direction.

EMEANA, a former 2007 – 2011 Member of the Imo State House Of Assembly (IMHA) who used to be an Actor, with the Imo Broadcasting Corporation (IBC), playing a leading Role in the “Mad Man Work” Drama Series, said Gov Hope Odidika Uzodimma, desirous of enriching the IMO People Intellectual Property, has approved the Revival and will be hosted  before the end of the year 2023.

According to EMEANA, though AHIAJOKU LECTURE is 45years Old, since it’s institution in 1978, it has not fared up to the number, of its Years!

This he said, was because,it never held for the Eight (8) years duration of Sen Rochas Anayo Okorocha (Owelle) Rescue Mission Administration.

And Prior to that time, was held last in 2010 during the Chief Ikedi Ohakim Government.

NZE RAY EMEANA informed that it was in 2019 under Gov Emeka Nkem Ihedioha (Omenkeahuruanya) that it was held again, after which it has never happened!

Nze Emeana Stated that this Present effort’s to Revive the event were all of Gov Hope Odidika Uzodimma, who only appointed him into the Bureau to drive it.

Regarded as the Biggest Igbo Man Gift Towards Civilization, Ahiajoku Lecture Series is usually held on the last Week of NOVEMBER each year, will be taken beyond the mere Lectures, as it will be enlarged and rebranded, bringing into it, the realities of Important Modern Days Activities!

Hon Nze Ray Emeana who assured of his avowed determination to have the event held, informed of plans to make the Ahiajoku Lecture Series An Igbo Affair, other than that of Only Imo State, and exporting it to the Diaspora.
