A vibrant and popular cleric with Overcomers Christian Mission Owerri ,Imo State, Rev. Nnamdi Akujuo has cautioned Christians and  Nigerians in general to shun sentient in voting for the next Nigerian President in 2023 General Elections.

Giving a Biblical example with Daniel in the Land of Babylon, he explained that Daniel was a classical example of  honest and credible leader with the fear of God.

In a media chat after, concerning the year 2023, he explained that it is going to be a year of revival and great miracles for faithful children of God.

He called on Nigerians to wake up for the betterment of the country, irrespective of tribe, religion and political inclinations, saying;”this nation should wake up, we need to vote our conscience, we need to do the right thing for the good of Nigeria”

He  also said;  “I am not a politician, I don’t want to be one, this country needs leaders who think about the next generation and not rulers who think about the next election”

According to him; Nigeria needs a leader who understands the plight of the people. A deliverer, one who will be like the Biblical Moses, despite being  in the palace, he refused to live a life of royalty, rather he took side with the people and chose to suffer affliction with the people of Israel”.
