Uzodinma has restored dignity of Imo Assembly, says majority leader

Following the fully renovation of Imo House of Assembly Complex, the Majority Leader of Imo State House of Assembly also Member representing Owerri West State Constituency Hon.Kanayo Onyemaechi has commended Governor Hope Uzodinma for restoring the dignity of Imo House of Assembly.

He stated this while interacting with House of Assembly Correspondents at his office on Monday.

Hon.Onyemaechi described the Governor as a man of his words who puts into action every word he said.

The Owerri West born Lawmaker hinted that before now that the Assembly Complex is like a dumping refuse as it was totally neglected by previous Administrations.

The Majority Leader disclosed that upon assumption of office the current Speaker of the House Rt.Hon.Kennedy Ibeh  approached the Governor over the deplorable condition of the Complex and he responded immediately.

“It is a thing of joy that Governor Hope Uzodinma has restored the dignity of Imo House of Assembly.Today we have a new Assembly Complex by Governor Hope Uzodinma.Before now that place is like a dumping refuse but today it is a place to behold with automated standard which is now attaracting the presence of Mr.President once again to the State.”he said.

He maintained that it is a big plus to the Administration of Governor Hope Uzodinma for inviting Mr. President the second time to the State to Commission landmark projects which included the Assembly Complex.

He further Stated that the time of rancour has gone within the ranks and files of the Assembly under Rt.Hon.Kennedy Ibeh as Speaker, maintaining that the House is now poised to discharge its legislative functions and support the Governor for the betterment of the State.
