Akpuka led panel visits IMSUTH

The Visitation Panel set up by Governor Emeka Ihedioha to investigate state of affairs of the Imo State University Teaching Hospital, IMSUTH, Orlu, has commenced official assignment.
Addressing the Management and Staff of the hospital, Chairman of the Panel, Prof Frank Akpuka said aims of the setting up the team are investigate state of affairs of infrastructures; including collapsed or collapsing buildings, to investigate awards of contracts in the hospital and to ascertain whether they were executed and to identify the strength and problems being faced by the Hospital; and make aappropriate recommendation’.
Members of the Panel include:Prof Frank Akpuka- Chairman, Prof Akah Peter – member, Dr Emeka Iroegbu- member, Dr. Mrs Meg Opera- Member, Mr. Basil Ngobiri- Member, Mr Leo Chimezie- Secretary, Barr. Ekene Bob- Ekenechukwu- Member and Mrs Eleberi- Member.
The group which was received by the Staff of the Hospital, clearly stated that the reason for which Governor Ihedioha set up the Panel, was not to hurt anybody; but to reposition the State- university health institution.

Meanwhile the Johesu Chairman Imsuth Chapter, Comrade Onyemekara Darlington thanking the members of the visitation panel for the effort they made so far, he also thank Governor Ihedioha for find them worthy to look into this university I hope and I believe that, with this panel visit our problems will be solves.
