God’s time is best, Araraume advices Okorocha

An All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Imo State, Senator Ifeanyichukwu Araraume has reaffirmed that the antics of the Rescue Mission government led by Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha will never obstruct him from being the governor of the state if God Almighty established that his fourth attempt to become governor will materialize in 2019.
Senator Araraume position on the forthcoming governorship contest in the state was contained in a release signed by the Chief press secretary, Mr. Ik Ogbonna in response to the statement credited to Gov. Rochas Okorocha to the effect that he would retire Senator Araraume from politics next year.
The release stressed that “we are not used to joining issues with anyone, Governor Okorocha inclusive but it is instructive to say that my principal senator Ifeanyi Araraume has clearly said that Governor Ethelbert Anayo Okorocha is not God and that all power belong to God”.
It further stated that in 1999, Senator Araraume alongside late Chief Evans Enwerem and Owelle Rochas Okorocha were given Senatorial tickets in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but Okorochas failed at the pool while Senator Araraume and late Enwerem were victorious showing how grounded they were in politics.
The statement reminded Gov. Okorocha that senator Araraume was long in politics before him having been in politics since 1988 when Okorocha was still struggling to make ends meet even as he has served many political parties in various capacities.
