Moses spent 40 days on Mount Sinai in Communion with God. Elijah travelled 40 days to mount Horeb to encounter God. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ fasted and prayed for 40 days in the wilderness before He started His earthly ministry. Each of these experiences marked a passage from trial to triumph.
