Catholic Men Organization (CMO), St. Kevin’s Catholic Parish, Ogbaku, under the Catholic Archdiocese of Owerri, will on Sunday 3rd May 3,, confer the title of “Ada Dichie” on its staunch Catholic communicant, Adaeze Daniels Opara. The ceremony will take place during Mass service which begins by 9:00 am at the Church premises at Ogbaku, Mbaitoli Local Government Area Imo State.
The event is in line with the celebration of Fathers’ Day to honour the fathers in Catholic faith as Mother’s day was celebrated the previous Sunday.
In the Organization’s letter of nomination dated 10/4/2026, the President, Amb. Henry Mezu, noted that the selection of Adaeze Daniels followed a meticulous process and consideration devoid of any form of interest and influence, but rather was guided by what they saw, know and believed.
“As a matter of sincerity, your selection was based on your numerous assistance and contribution towards the growth and development of Catholic faith in our Parish”, the letter noted.
The CMO president added that the awardee was specifically singled out from among many daughters for her dedication to the service of God, as well as show of respect and practical love for the fathers. In her acceptance letter to the Men Organization, Adaeze noted that she was absolutely humbled by such award, noting that she least expected it, but prayed that the ‘extraordinary’ voice propel and ginger her into more serious services to God and man.
She prayed to be as Esther, Ruth, Deborah, etc who served God and impacted their generation.
