The Labour Party candidate during the 2023 Imo State House of Assembly,IMHA seat for Nwangele state constituency, Chief Edith Nwosu ( Ikukuoma )has resigned her membership of the party .
In a resignation letter she personally signed, and made available to Nigeria Newspoint, Chief Nwosu expressed gratitude to the party for the opportunity given to her, saying that it was something she never took for granted.
Nwosu who cited personal reasons for parting ways with the party, further described her candidature as the party’s flagbearer for Nwangele state constituency seat in 2023, as one of the unforgettable high points of her life.
She also wished the Labour Party ,LP and its leadership well in their future endeavours in the state.
