The Isiala Mbano Lawmaker said that following numerous cries from his people he had to embark on, an on-the-spot assessment to see things for himself and he revealed that what he saw beat his imagination.

He  explained  that he also  observed that many communities in his area were virtually at the mercy of the gully erosion.

The Isiala Mbano representative, observed that the worst hit are Umuokpara and Nkwo-mbaa Communities in Ugirike Ward of  Ugiri Clan, Isiala Mbano LGA.

He maintained that the communities mentioned have the major link road which runs  across several communities in the Local Government and further connect  to Ehime Mbano,Ihitte-Mboma and Obowo LGAs, respectively and leading to Abia State.
