Hon. Ambrose Chinedum Nwachukwu, Executive Chairman of Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA, received recently in his office at the Council Headquarters the leadership of Persons Living with Disability (PWDs) Imo State Chapter. The familiarity gathering highlights his commitment to inclusivity and support for people with disabilities.
Speaking on behalf of the Special Citizens Barr. Ekwelem Chidubem Uzodimma, President of the Association advocate for Inclusion and integration of PWDs in community activities, engaging with community groups and responding to their needs.
The PWDs expressed gratitude for Hon. Nwachukwu’s kindness, generosity, and philanthropy towards them, citing specific examples of support such as cash donations and relief materials.
PWDs saying that Hon. Nwachukwu’s kindness and support for people with disabilities in Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA. highlights his commitment to inclusivity and welfare of people with disabilities.
In his responses the Ezinihitte Boss appreciate Persons Living with Disability for deeming it necessary to visit him despite their physical challenges.
Hon. Nwachukwu promised to prioritize the welfare of PWDs, including reconstructing council buildings to make them more accessible and continue offering help.
He donated a wheelchair to Mr. Onyeameka Nwokoji, Chairman of the PWDs Aboh Mbaise chapter, underscored Hon. Nwachukwu’s commitment to supporting PWDs. Adding that this visit demonstrates the importance of creating an inclusive environment that supports the needs of all community members, including PWDs
