At 61: Okorocha Has Defined Worth Of Life -Imo PDP Campaign Council

The Governorship Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party in Imo state has described as superlative, worthwhile and journey of grace the attainment of 61 years of age by former Governor of the state, His Excellency, Senator Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha, OON.
The council views Senator Okorocha’s current age as a true definition of life and its achievements. He has shown zeal, dedication, commitment and readiness in the development of Imo State.
Senator Okorocha, as a Governor of Imo state guaranteed security of lives and properties. His sincere efforts to open adjoining routes within Owerri, the state capital and its environs gave rise to rapid appreciation of lands and subsequent development of the state. Due to his good temperament and belief in the unity of Imo state, Senator Okorocha endured assault and insult meted out at him by agents of the present administration along Akachi road.
He has fought like a wounded man whose state is indeed on fire, not deterred that he was erroneously accused of sponsoring insecurity. Okorocha in the past, proffered lasting solution to the lingering security challenges in the state.
He remains one of the prominent campaigners of a new Imo in the November 11 Governorship election.
As a Council, such an enigma, elder statesman, patriotic Nigerian and nationalist cannot be ignored, but should be accorded deserved respect not only as a former number one citizen of Imo state, but as a leader whose desire to unite the state and ensure that Imo people are happy again remains his key priority.
The council therefore wishes Senator Okorocha long life, good health, and more wisdom to continue to advise leaders accordingly on the right part to adopt in the governance of the state as he celebrates the new age.
