Imo  Autonomous Communities Youth  Presidents Endorse  Uzodinma’s 2nd Term

Imo State Governor and  APC gubernatorial candidate, Sen.Hope Uzodinma  is all set to be re-elected on November 11,in view of the fact that the six hundred and fifty five (655) autonomous communities’ Youth presidents in the state  have   joined other strategic groups to equally endorse his second term bid as well as eulogized the Hon. Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs as a special gift to Imo state 6and Nigerians.

The Governor’s second term endorsement was announced by the Communities youth Presidents’ state Coordinator, Comrade Johnkennedy Ezerie Okpoko during the ceremony that marked the conclusion of a town hall meeting for the principal office holders in Imo autonomous communities held at the Imo youth Center Owerri.

The occasion was well attended by a  mammoth crowd from Imo Communities and a special team of Government House Officials like Barr. Macon Nlemigbo, Chief Mrs. Ruby Emele, Hon. Eric Uwakwe, the President of    Imo Council of President Generals, Hon Chief Omuruka Kingsley Chigozie and the Chief Political Adviser to State Governor, Barr. Enyinnaya Onuegbu who Officially represented Governor Uzodinma at the occasion.

In a welcome address, the state coordinator of all the autonomous communities’ Youth Presidents, Comrade Johnkennedy stated that the endorsement was neither spornsord nor politically induced. In his words ” Our resolve to endorse Governor Uzodimma for a second term was adopted in recognition of the obvious unbeatable score cards of the Governor’s achievements within his first tenure on the areas of Education, Imo  Property Recovery, Road infrastructure, Youth empowerment, Agricultural revolution, Sports, Upliftment of the State and Local Government service sectors as indispensable pride of governance, the rehabilitation of Imo State House of Assembly Complex to a world class standard and Security .

The State Co-ordinator concluded his speech with an appeal on the need for the Governor to provide them with befitting adminstrative offices at the state and Local Government councils. To give qualified local community youths more opportunities to work as teachers and civil servants. To equip them with Operational vehicles- at least, two for the State functions, and one for each of the zones as to reduce their daily stress in running    round to organize the youths

He also appealed to the the Governor to consider a monthly allowances for the community youth Presidents which he said,   will motivate them in Promoting the programs and policy trust  of Imo State Government.

Responding to their demands, the Governor’s representative, Barr. Onuegbu commended the youth Presidents for their voluntary decision to unanimously align themselves with Governor Uzodinma base on credibility in performance. He assured them that their request must be granted as he equally appealed that they should remain law abiding.
