TVC Imo correspondent, Prince Uba to bury father April 30

The remains of the father of the Imo State correspondent of Television Continental, TVC, Mr. Prince Uba, late Pa Cyprian Okechukwu, will be committed to the mother earth on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at his residence, Umuekezie Umungwara-Eziama, Umuebee, Ejemekwuru in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.

Pa Uba died recently at a ripe age of 89 after a brief illness.

He was a philanthropist, community, and devout christian, who contributed immensely to the development and growth of Ejemekwuru community and the Anglican Church, especially, the Diocese on the Lake.

According to the burial programme released by the family, there will be a Service of Songs in his honour on Friday, April 29, 2022, at his residence by 5 pm.

On Saturday, April 30 at 11am, a Funeral Service will be held in his honour at St Mark’s Anglican Church, Ejemekwuru, by the Bishop on the Lake, Rt. Rev. Chijioke Oti, after which, he would be laid to rest.

The statement further added that the
Outing Service will hold on Sunday, May 1, 2022 by 9am at St Mark’s Anglican Church, Ejemekwuru.

The late patriarch left behind, his wife, children, grandchildren and other numerous relatives to mourn him.
