Madumere salutes police on crime fighting

The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has commended the police in the effort in crime fighting describing them as patriots whose sacrifices in providing security of lives and property are appreciated.
The Deputy Governor made the commendation shortly after decorating his Chief Security Officer, Mr. Okem John who was recently promoted to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (D.S.P) at his country home, Lake Malinda, Mbaitoli local Government of Imo State.
Prince Madumere used the opportunity to call on the general public to see Nigerian Police and other security agencies as partners and embrace them for the patriotic effort they make in maintaining law and order.
He however warned against yielding to the pressure of desperate politicians who may want to put them under pressure to do their biddings, reminding them of their oath to serve impartially and ensure that no Nigerian is ill treated since we are all equal before the law.
He congratulated DSP Okem John for his new promotion, charging him to continue in his diligence and good work of coordinating the security formation of the Office of the deputy Governor, as he promise to continue in his avowed support of security agencies.
DSP Okem thanked the Deputy Governor for finding to celebrate with him and decorating him, promising to offer the best service based on his training.
