The Imo State House of Assembly speaker, Rt. Hon. Acho Ihim has been commended for working hard to revert the prices of petroleum products in the state to official federal government approved products prices.
According to a release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the speaker, Mr. Marcel Ekwezuo, the Onyeaghalanwanneya Youth Movement, OYM, Ngor-Okpala LGA praised speaker Acho Ihim for his determination to enforce the federal government approved petroleum price in Imo State.
Mr. Ekwezueo stated that the commendation was enshrined in a letter written by the association and signed by the President, Comrade Alvan Opara commending on the visionary leadership of the Speaker of Imo State Assembly.
He said that Onyeaghalanwanneya Youth Movement is impressed with the return to normalcy of the pump price in Imo State which have contributed in stabilizing the transport system and market especially the rural areas where the agro products come from.
The chief press secretary to the speaker added that the association in its letter stated that the enthusiasm which comes from vision results in dynamic power which leads to greater productivity.
He said that the association appreciates the Acho Ihim-led house which moved the wonderful motion.
