Of the several men and women of very high professional caliber in the global community, few have ever remained to be chosen for distinction in specific governance roles in the various segments of society.
For us here in Imo State, among the drivers of the Rescue Mission agenda of Governor Rochas Anayo Okorocha, (OON), Sir Jude Chika Ejiogu was chosen and given the opportunity to distinguish himself in the present masquerades administration. Initially appointed SA on IGR; Chairman/Chief Executive, Imo State Board of Internal Revenue; Chairman, Local Government Service Commission where on every challenge, he distinguished himself, a trend which continued to speak for him until he was named Chief of Staff to the Governor subsequently, Chief of Staff and Commissioner for Special Duties, which office he has occupied till date.
His meritorious rise to the engine room of the present administration is one that baffles many because achieving those feats he has realized nevertheless, would appear to be awesome to an extent.
Arguably, his training and exposure definitely have struck the magic wand for him. Having obtained his first degree in Monetary Economics from Lincoln University and MSc in Business Administration from University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas, where he majored in Finance.
Consequently, he worked with various organizations there in the USA including Texas Investment Bank N.A, Houston, Texas, where he served as a Senior Loan/Credit. Officer specifically attached to the International Division before returning home to serve his fatherland.
Being keen on proficiency through professional competence and core professionalism, he fisted his membership of professional bodies evidently germane to his specialty management chores akin to government commonplace. Sír Jude Ejiogu is a Fellow of: Institute of Corporate
Management of Nigeria, Nigerian Institute of Management Nigeria Institute of Bankers as well as American Security for Industrial Safety.
Today, Sir Jude Ejiogu who is born of a community leader and teacher, late Chief Alfred Ejiogu of Umuakuru-Emekuku in Owerri North Local Government Area carrics with him a kind of community spirit which his people or kinsmen cherish in an uncommon way. For example, their Emekuku Town Hall restoration project has found in him lesser than none save Captain Emmanuel Ihenacho who apparently took the first step to initiate the contribution effort.
Quite clearly enough, for member of Vote Rochas Club nationwide, Sir Jude Chika Ejiogu is one man in Imo State who has distinguished himself as one out of many who have made an indelible footprint of moral and financial support to the Club. In consequence therefore, Vote Rochas Club pressed with the burden of appreciation places him with pride as a state patron of the Club.
It is, to say the least, for his strong and passionate Rescue Mission favour that Vote Rochas Club is proud to be associated with this humble man of huge capacity to perform in government while vigorously pushing Vote Rochas Club forward across our state and beyond. To God be the Glory.
