In a recent interview with News Central, Renowned lawyer and justice advocate Dele Farotimi has made a bold claim about Nigeria’s political future, asserting that President Bola Tinubu has already predetermined the outcome of the 2027 general elections. In an exclusive interview with NC’s Kayode Akintemi, Farotimi stated, “Tinubu is not a man who leaves anything to chance. I warrant that the election result in 2027 is already written.” 

Farotimi, known for his outspoken criticism of Nigeria’s governance  structures, elaborated on the country’s political transitions and power dynamics during the interview. His comments come amid growing concerns about the state of democracy in Nigeria, particularly following reports of systemic issues in the judiciary and electoral processes. Farotimi declared that “the judiciary has failed Nigeria,” a sentiment he reiterate

The lawyer’s prediction aligns with his broader critique of Tinubu’s

 administration, which he has accused of consolidating power through undemocratic means. Farotimi’s book,  Nigeria and Its Criminal Justice System  , has been a focal point of controversy, leading to his arrest in December 2024.
