Amawom and Owerre Nshi Ise youth I stand strongly with you, for better and for worse, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.
This has always been my pledge to our youths. Youths all over the world are the foundation and backbone of any community, State or country.
Our youths are our future and will take over when our journey on earth is over. So we must protect, guide and make sure they are ready to step into their new roles when needed.
Our youths will fight to protect when our existence and sovereignty and existence i are attacked.
In war times our youths are drafted to defend.
When Area K was attacked for a hostile takeover by a greedy and vicious Governor our youths fought back, laid siege at Area K under dangerous conditions until the siege was over.
So, why don’t we protect, invest, educate and teach them our TRUE culture, customs and traditions and not the one ADULTERATED AND DILUTED BY THE ILLEGAL AND UNAUTHORIZED BALKANIZATION.
We must always make sure we teach them correctly reminding them that in no way can honesty and integrity be compromised.
We must teach our youths how to be strong and resilient knowing that life is not always a bed covered with roses.
We must teach our youths ,it is okay to fail and the world will judge you mostly on how quickly and how well you recovered and not because you failed.
Our communities will occasionally be tested and we must get them ready to withstand the storm when it hits.
We must teach our youths respect and task them with the responsibility of taking care of each other and especially our elders, the handicapped and the have nots.
We must teach our youths to love and be able to forgive when treated unfairly. When you love each other our communities can NEVER be fragmented.
We must teach our youths to accept responsibility when they misstep and end up on the wrong side of the law.
We must teach our youths to obey the law, obey a judge’s order and understand what a court injunction really means.
We must teach our youths what a contempt of court is and why no one should find themselves in that situation.
We must teach our youths the laws of our land and their rights under the constitution of our noble country.
We must teach them that false arrest and imprisonment is a violation of their constitutional rights and they must fight and resist it.
We must teach our youths how to communicate freely and openly no matter what the issues are.
We must teach our children about our constitutional rights to freedom of speech and to resist and fight back any violations of their constitutional rights.
We must teach our youths that it is okay to ask for help when you couldn’t make lemonade with the sour Lemons which life throws at you.
We must teach our youths how to recover when they think all is lost by building drug rehabilitation and mental health facilities to help them recover.
We must teach our youths about hopelessness in life and encourage them to seek treatment and to never give up.
We must teach our youths how to slowly recover when you hit rock bottom.
We as a community must invest in education for our youths because that is the basic foundation of life. It is a fundamental right that we owe them as a society.
We must encourage and teach our youths that college education is not for everyone and redirect to technical work and on hand training.
We must have frequent communication with our youths on the dangers of drugs and alcohol and encourage them to seek help if needed.
We must establish treatment facilities and hotlines to help them pull out of depression and suicidal thoughts.
We must make sure we retain medical doctors especially Psychiatrists by offering them better pay and incentives. Our medical doctors are some of the least paid in the world.
We as a society must listen to our youths and their visions and create positions in government to teach them how to govern and be good leaders.
We as a society must strive to reward our youths with programs that will shape their lives as they get older.
We must play the role of big brothers and big sisters to those youths that have no parents or mentors. We must find a way through established programs to find and identify those vulnerable youths.
We, as members of a society must be role models in our actions and governance worthy for them to watch and emulate.
We as a society must hold them accountable in our courtrooms and temper justice when needed realizing ; as humans we all make mistakes.
Our youths, though different have unmeasured potentials to strive towards excellence and succeed.
We must create jobs, build facilities that can provide them jobs.
We must attract foreign companies and businesses that can build factories and warehouses to provide jobs for our youths.
Having a job will definitely decrease crime in our communities.
All the above is my vision for our youths but until we find a government that is willing to invest in our youths, our State and country will continue to lack recognition when compared to others.
I pray for our youths everyday and sometimes you cannot help but wonder if you are praying enough.
GOD BLESS OUR YOUTHS AND YOUTHS ALL OVER THE WORLD.
I rest for now.
I remain your faithful servant,
Stella Anumaku Njemanze- Neboh (The People’s Princess)
