By now, the people of Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area in Imo state will be preparing to celebrate one of their illustrious sons, Prince Marcellanous Amadioha who is making giant strides in the annals of the history of development of the area. The communities that are known to be troublesome days ago are gradually knowing peace these times around. Because, they have gotten the Executive Chairman, Prince Marcellanous Amadioha who is putting things together in order to bring the Local Government Area together for even development, especially in elevating his people from economic down trodden.
The people’s chairman who was elected some months ago on the platform of the All Progressive Congress, APC is trying to rewrite the scourges of hardships that many have said to be the slogan of the party. Now that Nigerians are experiencing untold hardship which was formed by the leaders of political parties before the comingof the APC. These mal-administrations may have been the root of restiveness in the oil producing areas, of which affected Gross Domestic Products, GDPs of these areas.
Good a thing, according to the available information, the oil producing local government area happens to be one of the agricultural hinterlands in the state, and also possesses the able manpower to cultivate their fertile lands, which have been laying fallow since the restiveness, is now going back to their farmlands, as a result of the security in their environment.
Because, Prince Amadioha is curbing the excess redundant manpowers who some ill-politicians are using to hike troubles in the localities. He is always engaging the youths in his scheme of affairs, no matter the party they belong. And also assiduously ensuring that he marry them into productive ventures, than allowing them to remain the devil tools of work.
In the area of the leadership in their various communities, Prince Amadioha is tying all the loosed nuts in the localities, in order to ensure that the areas have operational heads that are reliable for the community development to flow, in accordance to a democratic setting, their responsibilities and dependability.
To this effect, the traditional stools, he has given a facelift recognitions and also instituted committee to look into the functionality of these traditional stools, wherein there are problems, he has been enable to correct the abnormalities in such setting. The Ohaji/Egbema Council Chairman has equally brought the leadership of the youths together, such that would enable them work together as a body and achieve their goals. This has been one among the troubles that border the local government area. He did not leave the women wing alone, because he has ensured that the leadership are being putting into a file for it to work. All these he is doing is to grease the wheels of good governance in the localities, of which he is sailing through since the past seven months of his reign.
In re-creative facilities the council Boss has ensured that the localities have the best healthcare centers in Imo state. Of which he has given adequate attention to hospitals and health care centers by providing them with the basic health facilities, especially the modern facilities and medical personnel are well paid and packaged to care for the people, and also enlisted them into the health insurance scheme of the state. In all the 12 wards in the local government area, he ensured that the presence of his administration is visible and laudably found.
Hon Amadioha before that rainy season set in, had worked on the roads so that the flood would not hit the localities when it comes. He has done so, to enable farmers to access their farmlands, such that will enhance their productive capacity. And, he is working to enhance the learning abilities of the school children. Recall that in the last children day celebration, both the primary and secondary schools in the area did their match pass in grand style. This proved that peace is gradually coming home to the oil producing area.
Descriptionally, this story of the lion and the deer running a race, where the lion run for food, the deer run for life, states the actions of an individual, that could be summarized that there is need and there is purpose for given action. In a nutshell, the Amadioha led administration in this description is the deer’s action, which specifically is purposeful administration.
The essence of this curbed programs, according to Hon. Amadioha, was to engender the regional economy in which the localities have been put to naturally before now, but due to the nature of leadership, the people have been denied the opportunities of realizing the natural setting, thus Amadioha is working.
