Award is like appraisal. And is being given whenever an employee or a leader is doing absolutely well in his field of specialization in the organization, community and country in favour and for the betterment of all and sundry.
In a situation whereby award is given on aspect of questionable alleged achievements, means it might be bought, and the sender have questions to answer.
Imo state has been a democratic state, but the unexpected and unwanted arrival of H.E Senator Hope Uzodimma changed the whole system to unthinkable and unacceptable governance.
Giving a governor an award as the best infrastructure governor, while non of the roads built by him never lasts for 2 years, i mean non. All are been built with sub-standard materials, and billions of naira were been mapped out, and it ends there. Thereby causing heavy erosion and traffick disasters on the road.
All the rural roads in the 27LGAs has not be touched, and it remains the easy access road for daily usage by local traders, farmers, students, kiosts, and hackers, etc, for their daily bread. But funds made for all these roads has been siphoned by the government.
Still on that, it has been observed that no operational van/vehicles for the polices in all various areas in rural and urban areas in Imo state. The few vans are only seen in the government House for escortions of the governor.
Giving a state governor an award while non of the traffick signs/lights in the entire state are working effectively, cars runs to their own ways.
Giving an award to the state governor while he hijacked the LG election of the state, and inserted his choice candidates forcefully, unauthourized, and unconstitutionally, hijacking, tappering and diverting the 27 local government statutory revenue allocations to known and unknown individual’s private account, thereby encouraging and causing undevelopments of all kinds in the rural areas. Tell me, what really qualifies the governor for the award?
Imo state as it stands rates the highest banditary attacking state without any governmental means and forms of destroying the fulani’s ugly ideologies.
Imo state rates the highest insecurity state in the south east.
Meanwhile, the governor resides in Abuja to control the affairs of the state. Ike gwuru.
When it comes to the state or affairs of infrastrutures and paying of pensioners, other South east states are busy building the state to its standard and paying pentioners, but Imo state government has been playing monkey tricks to pentioners and every single activities in the state.
All the 27LGA’s inclusively with 305wards government schools and heath centers has all dilapitated and no longer working. Meanwhile, billions of naira were been mapped out for all these in the budgets, but automatically redirected to an individual’s account.
Tell us, how does the governor deserve an award?
The Imo state owned funds generating Hotel has been turned to individual’s gain, and the hotel destroyed beyond repair.
The orashi river project that attracted and awarded trillions of naira has been abandoned by the governor and his government and the funds embezzeled.
The 24hrs electricity promised by the state governor never existed for a day.
The four thousand ( 4000 ) Imo state youths promised to be trained overseas are still on their way to overseas for the pasts 4yrs. What a failed government.
Without missing words, no built and functionable flyover in the entire Imo state.
Abia state that was been known for dirtyness and lack infrastructures is now the japan and china of African.
Anambra state develops in infrastructures, social amenities and fights insecurities on a daily basis. Anambra state runs the affairs of the state inclusively with Abia state with the state’s generated revenues, while Imo state has borrowed and keeps borrowing billions of dollars beyond repaying, and ndimo cannot see the effectiveness of the borrowed/borrowing funds at anywhere in Imo state. Imo state is in a very deep mess.
Furthermore, the award given to Imo state governor was bought with millions of naira. And the Imo state governor mandated the Deputy Governor, all commissioners, Aides, LGA chairmen and medias to make a congratulatory messages in regards to that award.
Then, tell the people what parameter that can be used to qualify Imo state governor for such award.
It’s patently obvious that the vanguard newspaper has decided to rob their name on the mud, and making it unattractive to the public. Before you act, look very well.

And Imo state APGA is utilizing this medium to call on the vanguard newspaper to withdraw such unmerited award and render a public apologies to Ndimo within 48hrs.
