Thirty Eight years ago today daddy you left us to answer your call with our maker above and your ancestors. You always told us you knew we would make it without you. Thank you for the time you spent with me alone at home, government parties and during our walk across Owerre Nshi Ise alone and on foot without security. Thank you for the knowledge and history you left behind for us to use as our guiding booklet. Thank you for being such a role model and defender of your people. But above all thank you for being our daddy and protecting us from the day we were born.
There is never a day Charles and I dont think of you and remember you.
The laughter you created for those who truly knew you can never be forgotten. And dad Charles and I are still laughing at your stubbornness every night as we talk before we go to bed.
Now that you are united with mom, your parents and siblings, we ask you to never forget your people and the fight ahead. We love and miss you daddy everyday.
Rest in peace Anumaku Njemanze.
