The problem we have today in Amawom Community,Owerre Nshi Ise is the so called politicians,given appointments by our Governor, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma to take care of the people .
The politicians in Amawom have become our OPPRESSORS.
The Governor gave us the highest paid political position in Imo State as the party chairman and we had it for 4 years with no records of achievements to write home about.allegedly Shameful!!!
Every other town(s) that got that position did a lot for their communities.
Let us watch an experienced and well respected Orlu man as the new Imo APC party chairman , congratulations to him. Watch what he will accomplish for the remaining 2 years to benefit his people.
If any other hard working Owerre Nshi Ise son or daughter was given the party chairmanship like we had in Amawom,he or she would have used the opportunity to improve lives , dig our youths out of suffering and poverty, control the drug epidemic, build some drug rehabilitation centers to help our youths and give them hope to live another day, instead of die by the road side on our famous Douglas road.
What our youths got for four (4 ) years was bullying, intimidation, harassment, fear, Tiger base haunting , hopelessness , neglect, suicidal thoughts and finally suicide.
Umu Nnem who does that?
We cannot completely blame the Governor for what is going on in our communities today because we have supposedly three ( 3 ) Amawom citizens that claim to be the powerhouse of our communities given top positions in the current administration but did totally nothing other than chase toll money. Chidiebere you even fought our Governor about toll money remember? Jesus!
Our youths have allegedly lost control of their destiny because of these worthless men.
They instill fear in our youths , making so many of them hopeless and too afraid to speak up against evil.
Owerre municipal has a sitting , city chairman who is also called the Mayor of our municipality.
Federal money ( allocations ) were allocated to the office of the Municipal city chairman to be used to improve streets, roads and to better the lives of members of the communities. These allocations have certain specifications and warnings on how to be spent on the Municipality and its needs and NOT on anyone’s personal bank account(s). The EFCC politely warned .
Instead of using the allocated funds to beautify and improve the wellbeing of the citizens of Owerri community you serve you allegedly use the allocated money for everything except for what the Federal Government gave the money for, and to accomplish.
My question to you Chidiebere Emeribe is what the heck are you doing meddling in Amawom youths election? Do you not have enough already on your plate? Do you not know what your job description is or what your scope of authority is? Do you need help?
Can you and your alleged political bosses not allow our youths to pilot and navigate their destiny without you reportedly jumping and creating an interim committee?
Our youths were ready for the election for the date that you all set but they were complaining of your alleged unlawful compromised Electoral committee trying to shove an alleged well established man , coming from Egbu ,down their throat as chairman of Amawom Youths Organization.
Be still, wait for a minute and let that sink in. An alleged Egbu man in Amawom as our chairman?.
Chidiebere do you think that our youths are stupid and would not fight back?
Instead of removing the alleged immigrant from Egbu you and your group used it as an excuse to install your allegedly hand picked interim committee and intentionally avoided your constitution that states the interim committee cannot stay in office for more than 90 days without conducting an election.
Have any of you ever read your constitution?
You are hoping and praying for a repeat of how you reportedly overstayed a court ordered 90 days stay and pushed it to almost 3 years without a single financial record or accountability. The judge should have held you In contempt.
We will get at you, when out of office and make sure you spend your own personal money in Court for your legal defense and not our Municipality funds
AMAWOM YOUTHS ARE SICK OF YOU ALL AND YOU NEED TO GO.
I AM HOPING THAT OWERRE JUDGES HANDLING THESE CASES WOULD ACT SWIFTLY AND HOLD CHIDIEBERE AND HIS GROUP ACCOUNTABLE FOR ALLEGEDLY VIOLATING COURT ORDERS AND MAKING A MOCKERY OF OUR JUDICIAL SYSTEM. HOLD THEM IN CONTEMPT SO OTHERS WILL LEARN TO RESPECT OUR JUDGES.
Chidiebere Emeribe in 2021 you became the interim chairman of Amawom Youths Organization and was given an order directly from a judge, I mean a sitting Judge from an Owerri High Court to conduct a fair, free and transparent election within 90 days as STATED CLEARLY IN YOUR AMAWOM YOUTHS ORGANIZATION CONSTITUTION.
Chidiebere Emeribe what did you and your interim committee do?
You all DISOBEYED a valid court order directly from the mouth of a sitting Judge and REMAINED IN POWER FOR ALMOST 3 UNFRUITFUL YEARS WHILE OUR YOUTHS SUFFERED.
Chidiebere the only time you ran with your alleged political boss and your partner realised that everything was wrong in Owerre, and called for an immediate election was when we called you out from USA at the cries and requests of our youths. You all got scared.
We immediately demanded a forensic audit that is CLEARLY stated in your constitution. You all immediately panicked because for almost 3 years you and your group reportedly collected all Amawom toll monies and building levies without accountability. Amawom bank account allegdly did not reflect deposits of any funds.
You all did not even have the decency as interim committee to call a meeting to address the concerns and listen to the painful cries of your fellow youths for your whole 3 years in office.
Having a meeting frequently sir is also in your youths’ constitution. You all could not present a single bank deposit slip, receipts on any building levies and not surprising any cash deposits to the Amawom youth bank account.
The question we all asked was WHERE ARE THE RECORDS OF ALMOST 3 YEARS OF SERVICE AS THE INTERIM CHAIRMAN?
SHAMEFULLY YOU HAD ZERO AND WE CRIED EMBEZZLEMENT !!!
When you all refused to handover the requested financial records for a forensic audit as required in your constitution, some Amawom youths went to court and SUED YOU WITH 13 OTHER EXECUTIVES.
The case Number for all to see is SUIT NO.; HOW/192/2024 in an Owerri High Court presided by Justice L C Azuama.
The lawsuit scared both you and your said political boss and you then quickly conducted a SHAM, KANGAROO ELECTION, HAND PICKING YOUR SURROGATES TO PROTECT YOUR TRACKS AHEAD OF THE ELECTION. WE HAVE DOCUMENTS FOR THE COURT.
The kangaroo election was conducted without following the guidelines set in Amawom Youths constitution.
The election was marked with fraud and gun shots to scare our youths preventing several kindreds from casting their votes and some were injured. Your APC boss in total darkness, announced their hand picked winners and they were immediately sworn in without allowing for election recounts and challenges by any of the candidates. Again, our youths were overpowered and silenced. We have videos!
The shameful and frustrating thing for the Plantiffs is how long this simple lawsuit has been crawling through Justice L.. C Azuama’s courtroom.
The reason for the lawsuit was to make sure the mistakes and violations of the election in 2024 were corrected and resolved before the next election in 2026. It never happened.
This lawsuit in Justice Azuama’s court , I am afraid is about to end up in the JUDICIAL GRAVEYARD.
The case has been adjourned and postponed too many times and we expect it to end in 3 years.
It is very disheartening when a defendant in a case tells you two ( 2 ) days before a court case that the judge will adjourn the case and you can’t help but wonder what the heck is going on. How did they get that information from the court?
The purpose for that simple lawsuit in 2024 is already defeated because by adjourning and postponing the lawsuit indefinitely, Chidiebere Emeribe struck again.
Why not? He is reportedly yet to be held accountable for all the Amawom Youths’ revenues collected during his 3 years as interim youth chairman .So, he thinks he can again encroach ,using his present Owerri city chairman powers to over power our youths again so as to keep control of our toll money.
Remember, these men are above the law and fears no Owerri Court Judge.
Amawom Youths Organization had scheduled their election for March 15, 2026, so that the alleged crooked, kangaroo unelected executives could handover and leave.
An issue was brewing several weeks before the said election and again the oppressive politicians that intimidated our youths had it all planned out on how to rig the election again and install one of their puppets,allegedly from Egbu Owerre as Amawom Youths’ chairman. What an insult?
DID YOU ALL HEAR ME?
I SAID AN EGBU MAN TO BE ELECTED AND RIGGED IN AS AMAWOM YOUTH CHAIRMAN.
The reason being that the young man projected to win the Chairmanship was not in Chidiebere Emeribe Elite inner circle and so, they were afraid the projected winner might not be their puppet and be loyal to them and might take away our toll money and building levies from them.
Amawom youths protested and demanded the removal of the said Egbu man who flew back from a beautiful life in Canada only to come home and become Amawom Youths’ chairman for 2 years and leave. Wow, I said our toll money must be a lot.
I guess there is too much money to gain for him to leave his family in Canada to come chasing Amawom toll money.
Biko , does Egbu ancient kingdom not have toll? Someone, please help me?
Amawom youths demanded that the screening committee must DISQUALIFY the said Egbu man and allow Oguoma na Neke kindred to select their own chairman to be entered into the election.
The screening committee and their political bosses REFUSED stating the EGBU MAN MUST BE ALLOWED TO RUN FOR THE POST. Our youths stood strong in defiance.
These politicians still refused because they were ready to throw the same playbook of installing an INTERIM COMMITTEE OF THEIR LOYAL PUPPETS AT OUR YOUTHS .
The alleged Government appointed Eze Amawom, Peter Eze Chikere Njemanze in an attempt to resolve the brewing issue cancelled the election to give him time to resolve our youth’s request and differences.
While the Eze was working with each section in an effort to resolve it, the so called powerful city council chairman DISRESPECTED the Eze of his community on March 17, 2026 and made a public announcement reportedly full of LIES, FICTION AND WITHOUT FACTS that he was again installing AN INTERIM COMMITTEE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE to protect citizens against riots and unrest in Amawom.
Chidiebere seriously?
I still have in my possession a video of your self and your interim committee going around Amawom and pulling out innocent citizens out of their homes and flogging them. Why did you not call yourself out for that?
Amawom is a peaceful community and you were totally wrong in portraying us otherwise.
CAN YOU ALL SEE THE PATTERN HERE? HE APPOINTED HIS PUPPETS WITHOUT FOLLOWING THE GUIDELINES SET FORTH IN THEIR YOUTHS CONSTITUTION.
HE DID NOT MENTION A TIME LINE FOR THE INTERIM CHAIRMAN TO HOST AN ELECTION AS PER THEIR CONSTITUTION OF 30 to 90 DAYS MAXIMUM.
CHIDIEBERE DID NOT MENTION THE DISQUALIFICATION OF THE ALLEGED EGBU MAN BUT INSTEAD TAKES AWAY THE RIGHTS OF AMAWOM YOUTHS TO CHOOSE AND ELECT THEIR OWN OFFICERS IN A FREE FAIR AND TRANSPARENT ELECTION. YOU ARE WRONG FOR THAT AND THEY WILL FIGHT YOU.
Here we go again. They know from previous experience that if the youths go to court and file a lawsuit it will again take the judge 3 years to handle the case while they remain in power ‘chopping’ our toll money without accountability.
My humble question to Chidiebere Emeribe is who the heck gave you more power than the Eze of Amawom?
What part of your city council constitution gave you the power to cancel a youths’ election and install your puppets which is exactly what you all have done in Owerre Nshi Ise for the past 4 years. I hope you have the sections underlined and highlighted. Also the youths’ Attorneys will have the right to question you under oath for your years of service.
DO YOU AND YOUR ALLEGED POLITICAL BOSSES HAVE ANY SHAME OR CONSCIENCE LEFT IN YOU?
YOU ALL ARE LOSING POWER SOON, THEN WHAT?
Amawom youths need to drag you to court and with a bended knee pray they get a REAL JUDGE that will see their lawsuit for what it is and render JUSTICE.
OUR YOUTHS ARE SAD, DEPRESSED AND HOPELESS RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THEY LACK THE MONEY TO FIGHT INJUSTICE LIKE OUR POWERFUL MEN THAT KEEP CHOPPING.
We are pleading that the judges handling these cases should rule on it based on their constitution and not the powerfl influence of these men.
Amawom youths deserve an election today, supervised by the elders and their own security. An election that will be fair, free and transparent and without these oppressors around.
How much longer will the Amawom youths’ lawsuit in justice Azuama’s court last?
Any ruling without a forensic audit will be automatically appealed.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND WE ARE TIRED!!!
AMAWOM YOUTHS DO NOT NEED AN EGBU MAN AS OUR YOUTHS’ CHAIRMAN. WE HAVE CAPABLE MEN IN OUR VILLAGE.
Chidiebere Emeribe the reason Ala Owerre is covered in TRASH, STINKING REFUSE, CARCINOGENIC MATERIALS AND UNHEALTHY ENVIRONMENT UNFIT FOR HUMAN HABITATION IS BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO BUSY MEDDLING WITH OUR YOUTHS INSTEAD OF DOING THE JOB YOU WERE APPOINTED TO DO BY YOUR APC BOSS.
Please, you all need to back off and leave our youths alone and let them govern themselves for they are all grown ups and adults and can write their own destiny
