Folashade Aliu, the 2023 National Campaign Secretary of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has addressed speculations surrounding a possible political alliance ahead of the 2027 presidential election, following recent engagements between key political figures.
Aliu made the remarks during an interview on Arise Television on Monday, March 23, 2026, when asked about the possibility of a joint ticket involving former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and NNPP leader Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Responding to the question, she acknowledged existing political relationships while indicating that consultations are ongoing, She said.
