Emotional relief came the way of the prison inmates as the prison’ visitation team of Overcomers Christian Mission Aladinma Owerri, visited Owerri Federal Correctional Center( Prisons) on Wednesday. sister Chidinma Sonia Okoro who briefed newsmen, said that the visitation was a monthly activity, carried out every third Wednesday of the month. Sister Okoro who is a member of the prayer force of the church, hinted that the visitation team was from the church’s headquarter at Aladinma Owerri. She added that the visit was aimed at preaching the word of God to the prisoners, giving them opportunity for salvation, singing praises to God and donation of items to them.
She further hinted that that items like bag of rice, drugs, wears including footwears, were among things donated at times. She revealed that some inmates who got prophecy from such visit that they would be released, had eventually been released. She also said that those who received salvation have kept to the faith.
