Former Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Dr. Sam Amadi, has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s trip to Europe, describing it as a “working vacation” that highlights the President’s limited stamina for the demands of office.
The Presidency announced that Tinubu departed Abuja on September 4 for a 10-day working vacation across France and the United Kingdom as part of his 2025 annual leave.
In a post on X on Thursday, Amadi argued that the President and his team were undermining his re-election prospects.
“The president and his team continue to make a strong case why he should not be reelected.
He has no strength for the hard work required for that office now. He loves, and probably needs, a lot of rest,” Amadi wrote.
