Good Governance: APC’ll Rule Nigeria For Next 30 Years –Emeziem …Lauds APC’s revalidation exercise

Following the on-going nationwide revalidation/registration exercise of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Imo, the speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Paul Emeziem has informed that the APC membership card remains the only ticket the dividends of democracy in the country.

The Speaker who is the Technical Committee Chairman of the political exercise, disclosed this while addressing newsmen during a press conference of committee members in charge of the revalidation/registration exercise held at the party Secretariat, Owerri, yesterday.

Rt. Hon. Emeziem noted that the purpose of the registration exercise was to give Imolites and Nigerians the opportunity to become members of the party which makes them eligible to demand their political, social and economic rights.

He hinted that it is important for everyone in the state to join the ruling party, both at the state and federal levels saying, APC has no plan of leaving power in the next 20 to 30 years.

Emeziem who described other parties as dead and incapable of anything good for members, called on all to hurry and join the moving train before registration ends in two weeks.

Also speaking, the National Committee Chairman in charge of the exercise in Imo, Godwin Anaughe who arrived the state with his team on February 1, said the exercise which kicked off on Wednesday has so far been a success due to the existing unity in the party made possible by Governor Hope Uzodinma’s administration.

He stated that the revalidation/registration exercise is ongoing in 3,523 units across the 27 local government areas in the state and has got trained officers to smoothen the process.

State APC Caretaker Committee, Barr Nlemigbo Marcillenus, Legal Adviser and Commissioner for Lands, Barr Enyinnaya Onuegbu among other members of the committee hailed Uzodinma-led Shared Prosperity administration for uniting and sustaining the party in the state, saying he has done well especially, in the area of road construction.

They expressed hope that as the governor has started well, he will also will end well.
