Insult on Nigeria youths: Prepare for surprises ADC tells Buhari

The South East zonal Chairman of the African Democratic congress ADC, Chief Umensofor P.C. has warned President Muhammadu Buhari not to dare Nigerian youths, through making derogatory statements against them like his viral statement that they are lazy saying Nigerian youths will surprise him during the 2019 polls.
Chief Umensofor made this known during the reception ceremony of new members into the party held at the party Headquarters, Osina, Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State.
Chief Umensofor stated that until one is angry over a bad situation, he cannot make a positive change, stating that Nigerians are now angry with the present situation in the country where cows are now more valued than human beings, revealing that 39 parties have come together to produce a joint president who will have a listening ear to hear the cry of Nigerians.
This candidate he said will sit with the leaders of the various parties and plan how best the country would be given good governance.
He added that the candidate will also adhere to the memorandum entered into which will make everyone including the physically challenged happy.
He opined that Nigeria is supposed to be one of the richest countries in the world because of its excessive natural resources and insulation from natural disaster as it is obtained in other countries, adding that the problem Nigeria has is poor leadership. He maintained that once it is corrected, Nigeria will move to the next level.
The South East zonal Chairman also stated that Buhari has reneged from the oath he took in May 29, 2015 to protect lives and property of the people, questioning the essence of governance if lives and property are not secured.
Chief Umensofor who inaugurated the new members urged them to comport themselves and work hard and also accommodate new members. He also urged them to ensure they obtain their voters card as in his next visit, he will do what he called, “operation show your voters card” pointing out that the voters cards are political ammunitions. He also advised that after they have voted they should also protect their votes and also ensure they are counted and handed over appropriately and then leave the rest for party leaders.
Speaking, the Ideato North Local Government Chairman, Chief C.C Diokpa said the party was registered in 2007 and also being number 3 in the list of parties was rebranded in 2016, and he was made the Ideato North  Local Government party chairman immediately and has been working without assistance. He thanked God who has helped him to single handedly manage the party till it survived without financial assistance stating that they have 10 wards, though it later dropped to 9 wards.
Chief Diokpo added that the changes in the Local Government positively affected the party as it opened its doors to welcome new members though they are demanding 80% of the structure.  He said the development has boosted the 14 wards in Ideato North even as he called on the people of Ideato North to join the moving party as it will surely deliver come 2019. He also thanked God for the success of the ceremony with the entrance of over one hundred people into ADC stressing that he has been able to achieve all he has achieve through the support of the state chairman, Barr. Ignatius Nlem.
