APC Congresses: I regret losing my deputy-Okorocha …Madumere is political wizard …Blames his CPS for ordeal

There are emerging indications that the Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha could still be in shock following the outcome of the ward, local government and state congress of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Imo in which the coalition members principally led by Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, the Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere and other top notchers of the party in the state.
Speaking at the Victory Chapel Sunday, the governor whose political camp apparently jilted in the said party congresses recently is believed to be still rueing the role played by his deputy, Prince Madumere in giving the Araraume camp upper hand in the congresses.
Governor Okorocha is believed to have reasoned that his deputy and political ally of over 20 years, could have used all the contacts he established in the past to boost his opponents’ camp, while regretting that he allowed a political strategist like Prince Madumere to fall out with him.
Nigeria Newspoint also gathered that Governor Okorocha who was reported to have described Madumere as trustworthy, further reasoned that the only possible thing that could have provoked his deputy to revolt against him could be a publication by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Sam Onwuemeodo in which he stated that ‘Madumere has no political value’.
Governor Okorocha’s CPS, Onwuemeodo had a couple of weeks ago, described Prince Madumere as lacking any political value in a manner that smacks of gross disrespect and disregard for the position of number two citizens of a state, and for which many concerned citizens condemned as unbecoming of a Chief Press Secretary to a whole governor.
Prince Madumere is believed to have maintained a studied silence amid provocations while preferring instead to align with the ‘Allied Forces’ led by Senator Araraume.
