Governorship: Ideato North, South support Nneji

Both leaders of All Progressives Grand Alliance in Ideato North and South Local Government Areas of Imo State have pledged their unflinching support to the governorship ambition of Mr. Frank Nneji.
The leaders of the two local government areas trooped out en masse to receive the Frank Nneji campaign team on its sensitisation tour to the areas and assured of their unalloyed support which they said was informed by the credibility of Mr. Frank Nneji.
The two sets of leaders made up of men, women and youths poured encomiums on the Founder of ABC Transport, asking him not to relent in his quest to lead the state that they will always support him.
Among the numerous speakers from the two areas, Nze Hyginus Iwuoha, Hon.Fidelis Ebere, Elder Emeka Mbanuzo, Mr. Anayo Duru and Hon. Lady Franca Okorie noted that Imo state needs somebody like Mr.Frank Nneji with good track record of managerial accumen which is lacking in most of the aspirants to salvage the state from her present predicament.
The leaders who pointed out Frank Nneji programs for Imo State as superb that will not only create jobs but turn the fortune of the state around decried the state of the roads, level of unemployment among the youths in the area and other prevailing economic difficulties facing the state asked  Nneji to always count on their support even as they appealed to him to remember the people of the areas when the time calls.
Describing Mr. Frank Nneji who single-handedly founded the most organised Transport company in the country that has presently offered jobs to Imo people including youths from the areas, as a household name that will win election for APGA, the Ideato leaders expressed no doubt that Nneji will replicate the successes recorded in private sector when he becomes the governor of the state.
According to them with what is happening in APC and PDP it is believed that APGA has 40℅ chances of winning but only needs a credible candidate who can give it the remaining 20℅ to win the 2019 governorship election in the state and among all the aspirants it is only Mr. Frank Nneji the founder of ABC Transport company who is popular among the people that can give the party the winning. Earlier in his speech, the foremost APGA governorship aspirant in Imo state, Mr. Frank Nneji said he has come to present himself to the leaders of APGA in the two local government areas and thanked them for the red carpet reception given to him and his team.
Nneji said,’ I have come so that you will know who is Frank Nneji the founder of ABC Transport. I didn’t come to talk too much but to show you myself. I have lived and done business in this state for the past 35 years. The only time I left this state was the four years I spent as a student in the University of Nigeria Nsukka and since them I have been here with you’. He appealed for their support as one aspirant whose address is well known to the people.
He decried the high rate of unemployment, the nonpayment of pensions, demolition of shops, lack of motorable roads and lack adequately equipped health facilities among numerous others despite the rich nature of  the state and promised to restore the dignity of the state.
The founder of ABC Transport disclosed that the company is the second largest employer of labour after Imo State with over 3000 staff which include people from the two local government areas and expressed his resolve to replicate all he achieved as a private person if he becomes the governor of Imo State.
“In 2016 I set up a project committee, brought in various experts to review the situation in the state. They came up with what we have today as Rebuild Imo Initiative. I looked for a party to actualise this and found APGA as the most credible with the people oriented agenda’, he hinted.
He disclosed that all his businesses are situated in Imo and will not afford to see the state further degenerate and called on Ideato leaders to support him who has never joined any party except APGA assuring that he wouldn’t dump the party in the future.
“I have never been in any other party before except APGA and I came to actualise this project and I will actualise it with your collective support. Imo State is in bad shape now and needs me to rebuild her”
According to him it was only the late former governor, Sir Mbakwe who made attempts at building the state after that the state, that is rich in oil and gas, other natural resources including human capital, crumbled. He enjoined the leaders to be careful in choosing who will serve as the governor of the state to avoid further degeneration of the state.
He pointed out that all APGA aspirants are good for the job but the people should look out for one that has been tried, tested and trusted with experienced managerial skills to rebuild Imo like him.
He advised the people to be aware of emergency foundation operators at this political period adding that they are out to deceive them. He said he started giving to the society as far back as 25years ago citing building of school blocks, donating of buses to high institutions across the country as all he did before now.
Highlights of the event were the intermittent famous solidarity songs of the youths from the area.
