I pay monthly wage bill of N89m …I’m prudent, not stingy – Nneji

The Imo State foremost governorship aspirant under All Progressives Grand Alliance, Mr. Frank Nneji has said that he is prudent and not stingy as rumoured on social media.
While inaugurating Rebuild Imo Campaign Organisation youth and women leaders across the 27 Local Government Areas of the State, Mr. Nneji who is also the Founder of ABC Transport Plc noted that most times people mistake financial prudence to stinginess. He maintained that he is only financially prudent and not stingy adding that being financial prudent is what is expected of any good administrator.
In his words, “If I can be stingy and be able to pay pensioners, salary arrears of Imo workers, and create jobs for unemployed youths and ensure every sector of state works again in Imo, I think it is good. But I am not stingy rather I am prudent”.
He stated that he is the highest employer of labour in the state with the wage bill of N89M per month. He then quarried how could a man with such wage bill be seen as a stingy person.
Nneji urged the newly inaugurated women and youth leaders to facilitate all contacts and interactions between the Rebuild Imo Organisation and the people at the local government areas in order to propagate the organization plans to rebuild the state. He expressed enthusiasm over the integrity of the newly inaugurated women and youth leaders, adding that with hard work and prayers Rebuild Imo would emerge victorious come 2019 elections.
The Managing Director of Rapido promised to establish Economic Empowerment Microcredit Schemes through community and society cooperatives for women across the state.
The past president of Owerri Chamber of Commerce promised to create jobs for the youths and create the enabling environment to attract investments which will generate more jobs in return.
Earlier, the chairmen of the occasion, Hon. Greg Okemili expressed assurance that APGA will win the 2019 election and admonished the party members not to relent in the fight to rebuild Imo. He described Mr. Frank Nneji as a seasoned administrator who will rebuild the state if voted in.
In his good will message, Elder C. C, Opara who said he was attracted to Mr. Frank Nneji by his exploits in the transport sector which has offered many Imo youths job enjoined Imolites to support Nneji for Imo State to get her rightful place in the comity of states.
