Owelle is worth celebrating – Nwaigbo

As Ogboko community receives free medicare

The coordinator of a non-governmental organisation (NGO) known as, the Real Call Medical Mission, Dr. Ernest Nwaigbo has reiterated what he called his ardent belief that Governor Rochas Anayo Okorocha is a divine gift of God to Imo State and Nigeria in general.
Speaking to the traditional ruler of Ogboko Community in Ideato South LGA of Imo State. Eze J.O. Friday Egenokwu and members of his traditional ruling Cabinet, during a courtesy visit weekend, Dr. Nwaigbo stated that he came with his medical mission team in fulfillment of his promise to celebrate Owelle’s annual birthday with offer of free qualitative medical Ogboko treatment to the people of Community.

The Medical practitioner poured encomiums on Governor Okorocha and described him as a true man of God and a man of vision while advising Imolites to learn to support and encourage their leaders instead of trying to run them down by indulging in unnecessary propaganda and rumour mongering.
He pointed out that it is only someone with Godly vision like Governor Okorocha could predict that General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) would become the next President of Nigeria and it came to pass, stressing that in governance Gov. Okorocha is laying a solid foundation for the next usual scratch and leave generation instead of the pattern which had become the norm and practice of governance by our people since independence in 1960.
In his response, the traditional ruler of Ogboko autonomous Community. Eze Egenokwu commended Dr. Nwaigbo for his unrelenting passion for their beloved son, Governor Okorocha who he said God had bestowed leadership qualities even from childhood.
The monarch who disclosed that he had received testimonies from his people of the efficacy of the treatment offered by the Real Call Medical Mission during their September 2015 free medical mission to Ogboko Community, prayed God to reward and replenish the resources of Dr. Nwaigbo who he bestowed the accolade of Nwanne di na-mba of Ogboko Community.
In his vote of thanks before the Medical Mission departed to the Ogboko Health Centre, a member of the Eze’s Cabinet, Chief Cyril Egenokwu applauded Dr. Nwaigbo for making the free medical outreach to Ogboko Community commemoration of Owelle’s birthday an annual event pointing out that he was in humbled and at the same time proud by the outpouring of the positive achievements of their beloved brother, Governor Okorocha made by Dr. Nwaigbo in his speech, some of which he said were unknown to them.
The traditional ruling cabinet members representing all the villages of Ogboko Community including the Cabinet Secretary, Chief Fabulous Nwanozie were present during the courtesy visit.
Meanwhile, the 2016 free medical outreach to Ogboko Community by the Real Call Medical Mission in celebration of Owelle’s birthday has ended at Ogboko Primary Health Centre.
The Medical Mission which had many doctors including Dr. Nwaigbo, nurses and other medical support staff on duty treated over four hundred patients made up of men, women and children drawn from Ogboko and their neighboring communities. Speaking to newsmen, one of the beneficiaries, Mr. Dim U che of Umudurueghughara village. Ogboko thanked God for giving them Governor Ökorocha whose name he said had continued to open many doors of benefits for his people.
In the same vein, Mrs. Blessing Okwuba who said she came from Umuduruihearukwa village, Ogboko beamed with smiles after receiving treatment for her undisclosed ailment prayed God to bless Dr. Nwaigbo for being a true friend of Governor Okorocha and Ogboko Community.
The matron of Ogboko Primary Health Centre, Mrs. Ann Udeogu who assisted the Medical Mission team in their assignment confirmed that quality drugs were dispensed to patients and called on other NGO’s to emulate Dr. Nwaigbo in giving free medical care to the needy.
