Prof. Mahmood Yakubu,the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced that the commission will replace the Permanent Voters’ Cards ,PVC with computer-generated slips for accreditation during elections. Prof. Yakubu announced the new development, yesterday ,Thursday,November 12, during a meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners,RECs held at the INEC Conference Room in the nation’s capital,Abuja . The INEC boss’ meeting was focused on the detailed issues of planning and reform learning from the experience of the the Commission during the 2023 General Elections.
