Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, has suspended a total of 85 top government officials, including 25 commissioners, 22 permanent secretaries, and 38 senior aides, for failing to attend a key state event. Fresh details have emerged about the tragic death of a Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) officer, Blessing Akpan, who was fatally stabbed by an unknown assailant in Bwari, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
