… Elevates Owerri Central Parish, Nekede, to Special District.

In recognition of his hard work and selfless service in God’s Vineyard, the International body of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) through its leader, Rev. Pastor E.M.F Oshoffa, has promoted Sup/Evang/Prophet Anyiam Chukwumaeze Donatus, to the rank of Assistant Venerable and elevated the Owerri Central Parish,aka Emmanuel Cathedral, Nekede, Owerri West LGA ,Imo state to a Special District Headquarters.
The investiture ceremony of Evang Anyiam which took place on Sunday, June 29 at the Church Auditorium, Umuezuruokam, Old Road Nekede, in Owerri West local government area of Imo State, attracted the presence of CCC leaders from the international headquarters, clergy men from other spiritual churches, politicians, friends and well wishes.
Decorating Evang. Anyiam with the Assistant Venerable regalia, Ven. Sup. Evang. Sam Olu Awolowo, who represented the Church’s international leader, Pastor Oshoffa, noted that the double honour to him was the Church’s way of appreciating him for showing great dedication to the work of God, as well as his fervently labour to the growth of the Church.
Awolowo, who explained the significance of the investiture regalia, explained that the first garment – Leader, shows Anyiam’s deep knowledge of the Church doctrine – the Girdle with crosses at the tie end, signifies authority and grace – the Casol shows superiority, progression in office, the next garment being a proof of his new level as a High Priest and Senior Clergy.
He opined that for a man to manifest and sustain God’s divine power, such a man must possess God’s wisdom, urging Evang Anyiam to forge ahead in his labour of love and righteousness.
In his homily earlier, the Church South East Regional Head, Ven. Sup. Evang. Solomon Omenu, pointed out the immense love of God towards mankind, admonishing christians to steer clear of sin.
He that sin leads to condemnation and damnation, imploring everyone to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour in order to have eternal life.
Speaking after the investiture, the celebrant, Assitant Venerable Anyiam, expressed great joy, even as he thanked the international body of the Church for the honour, promising the Church and society of more good work and steadfastness in serving the Lord, wooing humanity to goodness and righteousness.
Anyiam, who was recently elected Chairman, Regional Crusade Committee, disclosed that the implication of the new elevation of his Parish to a Special District – is that they shall now be reporting directly to the international body of the Church, still being part of the region.
On his part, Sup. Evang. Paul Mayaki (Baba St Paul) from CCC international headquarters, Lagos State, affirmed that the Isiala Mbano born Priest is a hard working leader, whose zeal and commitment to God’s service earned him international recommendations, hence the double promotions awarded to him.
Other persons who took turns to appreciate and congratulate Evag. Anyiam were Chief Anthony Uzoma, President General of Umuekebi community in Osuh Owerre community in Isiala Mbano LGA, Sen. Aptl. Onumajuru Bethel, immediate past Vice Chairman of CAN, Imo State, Chairman OAIC, Mother Celestial Calista Anyiam, wife of the Shepherd, Sen. Evang. Imara and Mother Celestial Ann Omenu.
They described Prophet Anyiam as a cheerful giver, great leader, peace- loving, selfless and a kind-hearted man, who they added has indeed made them and CCC World Wide proud.
