Imo Guber: There’s Vacancy In Douglas House: Opposition Can’t Distract Us -PDP Deputy Gov’ship Candidate

…Insists: lmolites will rejected APC, Nov 11

As political activities for the Imo State November 11 Governorship election build up, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP deputy governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Jones Onyereri has insisted that the opposition party, APC will not succeed in distracting them as they are poised to reclaiming power.

Speaking to Journalists shortly after he left the Imo State Police Command on account of petition bordering on character assassination and conspiracy filed by about seven former members of State Working Committee,  SWC who left the party to join APC, the former Senator of the Federal republic, Onyereri noted that he didn’t even know why he was invited, adding that he discovered that the petition came up on basis that a request was made for proper account of the presidential election fund released to the party in Imo.

He however said that the police were very civil and professional in handling the matter, stressing that with information available to the police they will do the needful.

The former House Committee Chairman on Currency, Onyereri posited that the opposition party(APC) will not be allowed to distract PDP in moving to Douglas House come January 15 2024. He hinted that the seven former SWC members are surprised that the party is waxing strong even after their exit, hence the unnecessary distraction. He said that the movement to the police is taking them closer to government house and that God shall perfect His will for the party. He said APC is afraid of PDP because the party is gaining acceptance and becoming popular among Imolites.

In his speech at the  PDP Secretariat shortly after the PDP supporters marched to the office, Law Biaduo assured that the party is being propelled by God adding that no opposition can fight a party ordained by God. He urged all and sundry to continue to support and work for the victory of the party
