Imo Agog As APGA Guber Candidate-Ejiogu Returns From Oversea Tour, Today

The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Imo State Chapter will today, Friday,June 30 welcome its Governorship candidate for the scheduled November 11,  gubernatorial contest in the state, Hon Tony Ejiogu.

A release from the Imo state chairman of  APGA,Chief John Iwuala-communicated to Nigeria Newspoint via Barr Canice Madukaji,the House of Assembly Candidate of the party in the Feb.25 polls indicates that the Grand Reception of the party’s  Governorship Candidate, Sir Tony Ejiogu will hold today ,Friday, June 30.

According to the invitation, All APGA BoT members from Imo State, all NWC members,all SWC members,LGA Chairmen and their Secretaries are to honour event.

It also invites all the 2023 Candidates of APGA and any other leader/stakeholder and interested party faithfuls.

The above listed categories of persons , the release noted that  are expected to assemble at the party state secretariat on Friday,June 30,  by 10.00am prompt for a brief meeting.

The Party chieftains are all to  proceed to Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport to receive the Candidate about noon.

After that, the candidate will leave the Airport via a motorcade to APGA State Secretariat, will address APGA  faithful and the Press.

Sir Ejiogu,the candidate will join same motorcade to his country home for a grand reception by his kinsmen at Owerri North and Owerri Federal Constituency.

“We also appeal to our members who have private cars to make available their vehicles to boost our convoy on the basis of personal sacrifice.

According to the party, “this will carpet and put to rest all questions and insinuations  concerning APGA’s  readiness for the forthcoming Nov 11,Governorship election,saying that  the party and her candidate are fully set now to hit the ground running.
