Ezekwesili Flays Keyamo, APC Over Petition To Arrest Peter Obi, Datti

Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, a former minister of education, has criticized Festus Keyamo, a spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress, APC, campaign, over his recent request that the Department of State Services, DSS, arrest the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate and his vice, Datti Ahmed.

Wednesday, Keyamo disclosed that he had petitioned the DSS to order the secret police to detain Peter Obi.

Keyamo, the current Minister of State for Labor and Employment, claimed he requested DSS to detain and charge Obi and Datti Ahmed over allegations of “incitement and treasonable felony.”

By partaking in what she called a ridiculous piece of nonsense, Ezekwesili claimed that the Minister is doing nothing more than fanning the flames of the nation’s destabilization.

“I saw a ludicrous piece of nonsense by a Minister in the @NigeriaGov of @NGRPresident @MBuhari, stoking the embers of destabilization of Nigeria by goading and inciting @OfficialDSSNG to arrest the @NgLabour Presidential Candidate and his VP.

“Is Nigeria a Comedy to you folks?

“Let me tell @OfficialDSSNG @NigeriaGov @NGRPresident and the leaders of the ruling Party @OfficialAPCNg about a very wise saying of our neighbors, the Ghanaians: If no one advises you, advise yourself. A word is sufficient to prevent foolishness,” Ezekwesili tweeted.
