32 newly recruited Imolites into Nigeria Army visit SSG

The thirty two Imo son’s and daughter newly recruited into the Nigerian Army under the Imo State 78 Regular intake,was onThursday 31st October, 2019, paid a courtesy visit to Imo State Governor, Chief Emeka Ihedioha,who was ably represented by the Secretary to the Government of Imo State, Hon.Barr.Uche Onyeaguocha,at his cabinet office in Owerri.
The newly recruited soldiers led by Nigerian Army Imo State Recruitment Officer, Major A.O.Ijakpa,alongside his colleagues,a Warrant Officer, Samuel Danjuma, expressed delight to come to show the State Govrnment, their sons and daughters who were very successful in the just concluded passing in the parade of the 78 Regular Intake into the military.The 32 Imolites who are now soldiers cut across the 27 LGA ‘s of Imo State,to serve as Nigerian Soldiers.
The Governor who received and welcome then back to the state after their training,thanked God for their successful military training.
In his words,the SGI,who spoke on behalf of the State Governor, congratulated them and promised to support and celebrate them at all times.
“We as the State Government, must always value everyone of you, you are now Nigerians first becoming Imo State. We shall always wish you well.You are now Imo State Ambassadors serving as soldiers.It is not an easy task but your training will guide you. You are now for excellence, courage and value. Being a soldier does not stop you to be whatsoever you want to be in life. As young people, the Army provides you so many opportunities to become very responsible in life. the sky is always your limit”, he advised.
The Secretary to the government of Imo state, Hon.Onyeaguocha,while speaking,said,”be determined, your training will prepare you to achieve success in life. Just believe in God at all times, even when you are posted in difficult areas. We in Imo State Government wil never forget you. Strive to make Imo and Nigerian proud in the course of discharging your respective duties as soldiers”.
