Failed 3rd Term: Okorocha has ordered sale of 71 Imo Govt Vehicles as scrap -PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, Imo state has again raised alarm over what it alleged as the on-going auctioning of vehicles and property of the state government as scrap by the outgoing Governor Rochas Okorocha administration.
Briefing newsmen in Oweri on Wednesday ,the state secretary of PDP Imo State, Nze Ray Emeana noted that few days after the party alerted Imolites of alleged huge cash withdrawals from the state government accounts by the outgoing Okorocha government, the same Rescue Mission administration has allegedly embarked on the autctioning of Imo Government Vehicles such as Toyota landcruisers ,carry cars, trucks, hilux, peugoet, saloon cars, pay loaders, generators among others.
Imo PDP also showed two leaked memos which the party alleged were issued last week where as they were believed to have been back-dated to December 2018.
One of the circulars according to Imo PDP ,was signed by Ukaigwe Julia(Mrs) and addressed to the ministries of Justice, Works, I information and Tourism, Agriculture and Food Security, Environment ,Justice, Public Utility, and ISIEC, titled “ Re: Sales of Un-serviceable Vehicles”. Which the other memo was addressed to ochiedike hospital on the same subject.
Imo PDP further revealed that a traditional ruler,Eze M.U Osakwe (Nnachi of Amannachi) was contracted by the outgoing Okorocha government for the alleged auctioning of “ 71 N0.Unservicable Vehicles” adding that Vehicles belonging to state government were allegedly being taken away to places like Lagos and other parts of the country.
PDP warned that anybody or organization that is involved in the alleged un-going looting of Imo Sate property including hasty issuance and back-dating of certificates of occupancy ( C of Os),and employment letters to bear in mind that the incoming PDP government of Rt.Hon Emeka Ihedioha would stop at nothing to track down and recover all looted property of Imo State.
The alleged looted 71 Vehicles according to Imo PDP were said to have been sold off at a paltry sum of N6 million to cronies of the outgoing government in the state.
